Choose a template that fits your style

From there, take a quick look through the sections and adjust anything that doesn’t quite match how you chart. You can add, remove, or edit sections, or you can always start from scratch if none of the library options fit what you need.
Fine-tune what goes into your note
While you’re editing your AI Scribe template, you can also choose how much client history it can reference. Checking off the option “Include 10 most recent chart entries” gives AI Scribe context from previous visits with that client, while the “Include most recent intake form” option lets it reference the client’s latest intake form too.
You can also add your own prompts, which are simple instructions that help shape how AI Scribe writes your note. You might ask it to organize certain details in bullet points, aim for a general word count, or pay closer attention to information that’s especially important for the kind of care you provide.
Give it a practice run before a real visit
If you’ve never dictated a clinical note before, talking through the details of a visit out loud can feel a little unfamiliar at first. Trying it with a test client or your own profile lets you get comfortable with how you want to dictate before using it in a real appointment.
