Phrases for quick and easy charting
Are you typing the same sentences repeatedly for every client? Are your fingers starting to ache? There’s got to be another way. Okay, pitch over! But, there is a better way. Using Jane’s Phrases feature can help you cut down on time spent charting and note-taking, and spend more time with your clients.
Jane’s Phrases feature allows you to quickly and accurately write an entire chart entry using the sentences you type every day in just a few clicks.
To start auto-populating a phrase in your chart simply press / followed by your phrase prompt, for example:
/P - Patient presents with (symptom or complaint)
/dob - date of birth
/virtual - This session was conducted via Telehealth using Jane’s Online Appointment feature.
These phrases should cover the key aspects of a typical visit, and can be easily modified to fit each of your patient’s specific needs. Check out our in-depth guide on Phrases here. Using this feature, you’ll be able to chart more efficiently, accurately, and to a higher standard.
