Secure data storage

More secure than paper files, Jane has multiple means of keeping your data secure through encrypted data transfers and remote, secure cloud-based data storage

When you transfer your data from your computer to Jane, the information is encrypted with the same level of security as your bank uses to transfer information (you can read more about that in our Security FAQ)
Jane has a private server bank located in a secured SOC 2 Type 2-certified data center, and all data is backed up regularly on secondary servers

The accessibility of Jane being on a web browser has freed our office from needing a server, having to worry (more) about safety and security of the data, and having special software for VPN and HIPAA compliant backups. Our office is basically paperless and we can help patients from any device we choose.

Patient Data is stored in the data centre location chosen by you during the sign-up process. We currently have regional data centres in Canada, the United States, UK, and Australia
Jane features, like Online Appointments (telehealth) are built to ensure they align with key compliance needs, like HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR-compliance
