Years, months, weeks, days… You won’t ever need to ask when TELUS eClaims is coming to Jane again. It’s here, and it’s glorious!
eClaims is now live for ALL of Jane’s Canadian clinics.
With the launch of our eClaims integration, staff members can now submit and receive responses in real-time from eClaims participating insurers directly in Jane.
Here’s how it works:
If you have an existing eClaims account, you can enable the integration in just a few steps for each of your locations directly in Jane. You will be asked for a few details like your provider information and which locations you’d like to set up eClaims for.
This should only take a few minutes so you’ll be ready to go in no time.
When a patient comes into your clinic, they can hand you their insurance card. Enter their insurance details into Jane and run an eligibility check using the new TELUS eClaims integration.
In a matter of seconds, you and your patient will be able to know exactly how much coverage they are eligible for, how much they have to pay, and how much you will be claiming after the treatment.
After the treatment is complete, you can submit the claim and get a response back from the insurance provider immediately. No more need to manually indicate % Coverage, Eligible Amount, or Max Amount.
Jane will take care of updating the amount covered for that visit and will pass any applicable balance off to the patient as soon as the claim has been successfully submitted and the amount covered by the insurer is confirmed.
Your patients can then pay the remaining amount. It’s as simple as that!
To reconcile insurer payments, you’ll have the option to choose whether you want Jane to:
- Automatically record payments for claims right away once a response has been received; or,
- Manually record payments when you receive your statement from the insurer.
That’s it! You’ve now handled your patient’s claim in real-time, and without leaving Jane. We believe this will help you dramatically reduce the amount of time spent working on claims, freeing up more of your time doing what you do best - helping your patients.
