Have you ever wondered: “Is this tool actually connected to Jane?”
It’s a question asked by clinics, developers, and potential partners, and if you’re looking for answers, you’re in the right place.
A new chapter: Jane Integrations
Over the past year, we’ve been building a secure pathway for companies to integrate with Jane. Jane Integrations is an official, approval-based, API partner program that’s launching soon.
Why we’re building this
As practices grow, so do their operational needs, and we want to expand what’s possible in Jane without compromising the privacy, security, and reliability our clinics depend on.
For example, Jane customers have asked for:
- More tools that are specific to their discipline, especially when it comes to charting and documentation.
- More automated features, so they can take more administrative tasks off their list.
- More ways to share feedback to shape what integrates with Jane.
We believe Jane Integrations will help get Jane customers the products and tools they’re after, while upholding the high bar that healthcare software must maintain.
Additionally, patients and clients trust practitioners with sensitive information, and our customers trust Jane to protect that information. That trust doesn’t stop at integrations. That’s why we’re not launching an open, public API where any product can connect to Jane. Instead, we are building a vetted partnership pathway.
What’s a vetted partnership pathway?
To participate in Jane Integrations, partners will go through an intake and approval process before they can connect to Jane. We review how their product works, how data flows, how privacy is protected, and how the integration will be supported.
This vetting is so important to us and to the safety of our customer data, and if we’re satisfied, allows us to call someone an official Jane Integration Partner.
Official vs. Unofficial Jane Integrations
You may have noticed some new tools and connectors popping up that claim to work with Jane. Some of them are official, and some of them aren’t. We know that distinction isn’t always easy to spot, so we wanted to clear things up, share what we’ve been building behind the scenes, and give you a page you can always come back to if you’d ever like to double check.
A tip: Be especially cautious of browser extensions that scrape data from Jane, meaning, they can see everything you browse. Also be careful of anything that requires you to turn off two-factor authentication.
If something isn’t feeling quite right, you can double-check our Integrations page to see if a vendor or company is listed.
In the meantime, here’s a look at folks the Jane Integrations team are officially working with. And good news, we’re looking to add to this list in the coming months.

- Cyberimpact
- Trust Driven Care
- Mango Voice
… and more to come soon. 💙
The is it an official integration checklist:
Official Jane Integrations:
✅ Uses Jane’s approved API and won’t scrape data, share your credentials, or ask to turn off two-factor authentication.
✅ Are reviewed for privacy and security compliance.
✅ Will be listed on Jane’s website, either on this page here or our integrations tab.
✅ Partners will have an ongoing relationship with Jane.
✅ If any issues arise, you’ll be supported by Jane to get it resolved.
Note: Just so you know, community interest and partner support are things we genuinely take into account when we choose who to work with. That said, there’s a lot that goes into deciding who we partner with, so we can’t promise that every partner or tool will be the right fit for what we’re building.
What will Jane Integrations look like in action?
A public-facing partner marketplace is coming soon, where clinics can:
- Browse approved integrations.
- Filter by category and region.
- See what’s in early access and coming soon.
- Learn about what each integration does.
- Easily identify which tools are officially supported by Jane.
- Have a clear way to purchase and use partner products that integrate with Jane.
We want to build an ecosystem of tools that practitioners can rely on. This means, the tools we support as Jane Integrations will have to fit three key criteria:
- They need to connect easily to Jane.
- The need to help improve clinic processes in a measurable way, like simplifying daily admin tasks or assisting patient care.
- And as always, they must ensure compliance and the security of patient data.
So, what next?
If you’re a potential partner or developer 🤝
While we are not launching an open or public API, we would still love to explore working with you. But before we get ahead of ourselves, here are a few ground rules:
- We are not ready to support single-use-case integrations.
- Clinics cannot build their own integrations.
- For now, we’re not looking to work with AI scheduling or AI scribe tools.
- Posting directly into Jane’s calendars is not supported.
- We do not support tools that require login credential sharing or disabling two-factor authentication.

FAQ
What does “official Jane integration” actually mean?
When a partner integrates with Jane officially, it means they’ve gone through an approval process with our team. We’ve reviewed their approach to privacy and security, we’ve worked with them on how data flows between their product and yours, and we’re there if something goes sideways.
Is Jane opening an API for anyone to use?
No. Jane is building a vetted partnership pathway for approved partners.
Are you open to integration with tools to help practitioners market and grow their clinics?
Expanding into marketing and growth tools, including potential ways to work with agencies, is certainly on our mind. However, we’re still shaping the right approach, and we’ll share more when we’ve got a solid answer.
Why is Jane taking a vetted approach instead of an open API?
For Jane, privacy, security, and patient trust require a higher bar than “it works.” Healthcare data demands careful review, ongoing oversight, and clear accountability.
Can my Jane clinic build its own integration using Jane’s APIs?
No. Clinics cannot independently develop and publish integrations using Jane’s APIs.
Can I use an unofficial connector or browser extension?
That is a decision each clinic makes, but we do not recommend this approach as Jane cannot verify the privacy, security, reliability, or support for unofficial tools. We recommend caution with browser extensions and anything that requires turning off two-factor authentication.
When does the Jane Integrations program officially launch?
We are actively working on it and already partnering with a small number of early partners. We will share more as soon as we can.
Will Jane continue adding more integrations?
Yes. Expanding our ecosystem is a major focus this year. Right now our big goal is selecting integrations that make things easier for our customers, while maintaining our standards.
