Front Desk, Jane’s magazine for health and wellness practitioners, won Best Overall Editorial in the Content Creation category at the 2026 Content Marketing Awards. The awards are presented each year by the Content Marketing Institute and are the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards program.
It’s our magazine’s first win. Front Desk has been a finalist every year since it launched in 2023.
What the award recognizes
This year’s judges panel consisted of 37 top marketing influencers, brand leaders, and industry experts. Each entry in the Content Marketing Awards is evaluated on how well it fulfills its goal or mission and on the quality of the product, including editorial and design. Judges look specifically for evidence of how the work created and distributed valuable, consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience.
Why Front Desk exists
Practitioners spend years learning how to care for people, then pick up the business side of running a clinic as they go. Front Desk covers that part: hiring and payroll, billing, branding, and building a practice that lasts. It also makes room for burnout, difficult patient experiences, and the realities of building a sustainable career while caring for other people. Some readers are new grads figuring out their first year, and others are experienced owners rethinking how they want to practice.
What’s in the latest issue
- How to reduce late cancellations without making every conversation about fees
- How to rethink a treatment room so it works for both patients and practitioners
- How to decide whether business coaching is worth it
- What AI is changing about how new patients find a clinic online
How each issue gets made
Jane’s in-house team of writers, editors, designers, illustrators, photographers, and fact-checkers produces every issue. Topics come from conversations with practitioners and the wider Jane community, with the team interviewing up to two dozen practitioners and professionals, writing, editing, fact-checking, and designing every page with the reader in mind.
Thank you to every practitioner who reads and shares Front Desk. It’s made for you.
Jane is a practice management platform for health and wellness practitioners, designed to help the day-to-day work of running a clinic feel a little easier. Front Desk is one of the ways we try to help the helpers, because the people running clinics deserve tools, resources, and a community that actually understands their work.
