Enabling Medication Management
To enable medication management in Jane, turn on the Medication View toggle in your Settings. Once enabled, a Medications tab will appear on every patient’s profile.
Go to Settings > Workshop
Click the Medication View toggle to turn it on.
Adding a medication to a patient’s profile
To add a medication to a patient’s profile, select their Medications tab and click the + Add medication button.
Enter as much information about the medication as you need. The only required fields are the medication name and status.
When you’re finished, click Add.
Editing a medication
If you need to make changes to a medication, select the three dots under the Actions column and choose Edit.
All changes you make to a medication will be recorded in the Medication details tab. You can view this panel by clicking on the medication’s name or the three dots in the Actions column.
Adding a medication to a patient’s chart
To add a medication to a patient’s chart, add the Medication chart part to your entry.
You’ll see a list of active patient medications to the left, and you can select which ones to add to the entry.
FAQ
Can I add the Medication chart part to intake form questionnaires?
No, currently, a provider needs to manually add medications to a patient’s profile.
Can I see medications in any of my reports?
No, but you can view all changes to a medication in the Medication details panel.
What Staff Access Level is needed to see a patient’s Medications tab?
No specific Staff Access Level is needed because anyone who can view the patient’s profile can see the patient’s Medications tab.
