What to Expect

The allergy appears in the Allergies section of the patient's Medications tab. Allergies are grouped by severity, with Severe listed first, followed by Moderate, then Mild.

Important Notes

  • Deleting an allergy permanently removes it from the patient's profile. This action can't be undone and isn't recorded in the activity log. See our guide on How to Edit or Delete an Allergy on a Patient's Profile if you need to remove an entry.
  • If you currently record allergies in the medical alert field in the chart, that field remains available. The Allergies section is the recommended place to record allergy information going forward.
