Can other staff members, including the Account Owner, see a practitioner's Psychotherapy Notes in Jane?
Answer
No. Psychotherapy Notes are visible only to the practitioner who wrote them. No other staff member, including the Account Owner, can view a practitioner's Psychotherapy Notes. This is a requirement under HIPAA, which mandates that psychotherapy notes be kept separate from the patient's medical record and restricts access to the authoring clinician only.
When an Account Owner enables Psychotherapy Notes for a staff member, they'll see a confirmation pop-up acknowledging that they will have no access to those notes.
