Jane's Guide

Here's all the help you need to use Jane.

How to Customize the Chart Footer

The chart footer appears on every page of a PDF chart export. You can customize it to include patient details, practitioner credentials, location information, and more using variables that automatically populate with the correct data for each export.

  1. A staff member with Full Access can navigate to Settings > Language
  2. Click Customize Footer for PDF Chart Exports
  3. In the text field, type any static text you'd like to appear in the footer
  4. To add a variable, click on the variable name from the list below the text field. Jane will highlight it.
  5. Copy the highlighted variable and paste it into the text field
  6. Click Save

📣 Heads up: The footer has a maximum length of 500 characters. No formatting options (bold, italic, etc.) are available for the footer text.

Once saved, the customized footer will appear at the bottom of every page when you export a chart as a PDF.
