Getting Started

Before you get started, make sure you have the following set up:

Instructions

To send a Good Faith Exam invite to a patient, follow these steps. Once complete, the patient can complete their exam by email or right away over video, and the results sync back to their chart in Jane.

  1. Open the patient's profile in Jane.
  2. Click the Qualiphy tab and select Qualiphy Telehealth. Qualiphy opens in a new browser tab, with the patient's information already filled in from their Jane profile.

  1. Confirm the Consultation Type. This is preset to Good Faith Exam, but you can select a different option if needed.

  1. Select the exam from the Good Faith Exam & Orders drop-down.
  2. Choose how to start the exam:
    • Click Send Invite to email the patient a link to complete the exam. The link is valid for 30 days.
    • Click Connect Instantly to start the video call with a Qualiphy provider right away.

🩵 Jane Tip: You can add additional recipients by CC when sending the invite email, useful if a caregiver or parent needs to be included.

What to Expect

After a Good Faith Exam is completed, whether instantly or through an emailed invite, Qualiphy sends the exam documentation back to Jane as a PDF. A bar appears at the top of the patient's chart in Jane, letting you know the exam documentation is ready to review and add to the patient's chart.

🩵 Jane Tip: Prefer having exam documentation charted automatically? A Full Access user can turn off the review step for the whole clinic. See our guide on How to Turn Off Chart Review for Your Clinic's Integrations.

Important Notes

  • This integration is available to US clinics in 48 states and Washington, D.C. It's not available in Alabama, Mississippi, or Canada.
