How Do Jane's Communication Tools Work with TrustDrivenCare?

How do Jane's built-in communication tools work alongside TrustDrivenCare, and do I need to change any settings in Jane after connecting?

Answer

TrustDrivenCare extends Jane's built-in communication tools. It does not replace them. Once connected, there are two settings in Jane you'll need to review:

  • SMS reminders: Disable SMS reminders in Jane if you plan to use TDC to send appointment reminders. Leaving both enabled will result in patients receiving duplicate messages from two different phone numbers.
  • Email reminders: Keep email reminders enabled in Jane, especially if you offer Telehealth appointments. Jane sends unique video links via email that TDC cannot replicate.

TDC will help you configure these settings during your onboarding call.

TDC syncs patient and appointment data directly from Jane to power its communication tools, so there is no need to manage a separate contact list or manually export contacts.
