What Information is Shared Between Jane and TrustDrivenCare?

Question

What information is shared between Jane and TrustDrivenCare when the integration is connected?

Answer

The TrustDrivenCare integration syncs data from Jane to TDC automatically. The integration is one-directional. Data flows from Jane to TDC only. No data from TDC is written back into Jane.

Data that syncs from Jane to TDC includes:

  • Patient contact details required to send communications
  • Upcoming and past appointments from the Jane schedule
  • Revenue data, including amounts billed vs. collected
  • Patient visit counts, including new patients, total visits, and reactivations
  • Per-provider appointment and revenue summaries

TrustDrivenCare is responsible for how data is stored and used within the TDC platform. Before connecting, clinics are encouraged to review TDC's privacy policy and terms of service.

Clinics in the US are required to complete A2P registration before two-way text messaging is enabled. TDC includes the cost of this registration and guides clinics through the process during onboarding.

TDC has completed Jane's compliance review as part of the official partnership and states that it is HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant, with data housed on Amazon and Google servers across North America. Some data processing, including SMS and email, occurs in the United States. PIPEDA does not explicitly require Canadian data residency, but your clinic may have its own considerations around cross-border data transfers. For specific privacy questions, contact TDC directly at support.trustdrivencare.com.
