Connecting Jane and Fullscript

👉 Click here if you’ve already been using the original Fullscript integration and would like to switch to the updated version

First, you’ll want to disconnect your old Fullscript integration. Head to Settings > Integrations, and select the old Fullscript integration. It won’t have a “new” or “beta” badge next to it.

Click Edit next to each connected staff member and then click Delete to remove the integration.

Now you’re ready to connect the new Fullscript integration.


If you’ve never connected the Fullscript integration before, or have disconnected the old version, head to Settings > Integrations.

Select Get Started next to the Fullscript tile that has a “new” or “beta” badge next to it. You’ll be prompted for your Fullscript login info (if you aren’t already logged in) to complete the setup.

Creating a new patient in Fullscript

Head to the patient’s profile in Jane and click the Fullscript button.

This will open Fullscript in a new tab. If the patient doesn’t have a corresponding profile in Fullscript, click the Create patient button in the upper-right corner.

Enter the patient details and click Create.

Linking an existing patient in Fullscript

Head to the patient’s profile in Jane and click the Fullscript tab:

Fullscript will bring up any patient profiles that match their info in Jane. Click the Link Patient button, and the profiles are now connected.

Creating a treatment plan

Head to the patient profile in Jane and click the Fullscript button under their name to launch Fullscript in a new tab.

You can search for any products you’d like to add. When you select them, you can customize the instructions on the product info page and then click Add to plan when you’re ready.

When you’ve finished adding products, click Review plan in the upper-right corner to review and send to the patient.

Once the plan is sent to the patient, a corresponding chart draft will be created in Jane, where you can review and sign it.

Creating a template in Fullscript

Launch Fullscript by clicking the Fullscript tab in your patient’s profile.

On the Products page, click the Templates button.

You can scroll down to browse some pre-made templates or click the Build template button in the upper-right of your screen.

You can choose which staff members can access the template and then which products to include.

When you’re finished, click Review plan in the upper right corner.

Once you’ve reviewed your template, you can name it and save it.

FAQ

If I make changes to a treatment plan in Fullscript, will it update the corresponding chart entry in Jane?

No, the original chart draft in Jane will not change after it’s been created, even if changes are made to the plan in Fullscript.

If I don’t launch Fullscript from a patient’s profile in Jane and I create a treatment plan, will there still be a corresponding chart entry in Jane?

Yes, a chart entry will be created in Jane as long as:

  • Jane and Fullscript have been connected
  • You’ve linked the patient’s Jane profile to their Fullscript profile

Viewing lab results in Jane

When lab results are available, a new chart draft will be automatically created for the patient, where you can download the attached file and view the results.

Creating a template in Fullscript

Launch Fullscript by clicking the Fullscript tab in your patient’s profile.

On the Products page, click the Templates button.

You can scroll down to browse some pre-made templates or click the Build template button in the upper-right of your screen.

You can choose which staff members can access the template and then which products to include.

When you’re finished, click Review plan in the upper right corner.

Once you’ve reviewed your template, you can name it and save it.

FAQ

If I make changes to a treatment plan in Fullscript, will it update the corresponding chart entry in Jane?

No, the original chart draft in Jane will not change after it’s been created, even if changes are made to the plan in Fullscript.

If a lab order includes multiple tests, will a separate chart entry be made in Jane for each test result?

Yes, each time a new lab result comes in, a corresponding chart entry will be created in Jane.
