Can I Keep My Existing Phone Number When Switching to Mango Voice?

Can my clinic keep its existing phone number if we switch to Mango Voice?

Answer

Yes. Mango Voice supports number porting, and their team will walk you through the entire process. Most numbers can be moved, though there are some exceptions.

  • Provide your existing number and carrier information to the Mango Voice team, and they'll run a portability check.
  • Most numbers port without issue. Exceptions include numbers from small rural providers or accounts that are no longer active.
  • If a number can't be ported, Mango Voice can help you select a new number within their system.
  • The full porting process typically takes 7–14 business days.
  • There is no downtime during the port. Your existing phones continue to work until the moment the transfer is complete, at which point your Mango Voice phones take over.
