How to Book a Treatment Add-On

Jane Plan: All plans
Add-on Required: No
Geography: ๐ŸŒ All geographies

Instructions

To book a treatment add-on in Jane, follow these steps. Once complete, the add-on will appear on the patient's invoice as a separate line item alongside the base treatment.

  1. Go to the schedule and select the time slot you'd like to book.
  2. Select the treatment you'd like to book from the New Appointment panel.
  3. Under Booking Info in the New Appointment panel, find the Add add-ons to this treatment section. This section only appears if the selected treatment has been linked to at least one add-on.
  4. Check the box next to any add-ons you'd like to include. The name, length, and cost of each add-on are listed alongside the checkbox.

  1. Continue booking the appointment as usual.

๐Ÿฉต Jane Tip: You can add as many add-ons as you like, though we recommend a maximum of five per appointment.

What to Expect

The booked appointment appears on the schedule with a + icon indicating an add-on is attached. Hover over the + icon to see the add-on name and cost. Click the appointment to open the appointment panel and view the full add-on details in the Booking Info section.

Important Notes

  • If the base treatment is covered by a package or membership, the add-on will be covered by that package or membership as well.
  • If an insurance policy is applied to the appointment, Jane treats the base treatment and add-on as one combined treatment for the purposes of calculating coverage. For example, if the base treatment and add-on total $100 and the policy covers 80%, the insurance will cover $80.
