How to Turn On Online Booking

Online booking lets patients schedule their own appointments through your clinic’s Jane booking page. This guide explains how to enable online booking for your clinic and choose who can access your booking page.

Getting Started

Before you get started, make sure you have the following set up:

  • Location: Controls which clinic locations appear on your online booking site.
  • Disciplines: Determines which disciplines, and their related treatments and staff, show on your booking page.
  • Treatments: Indicates which treatments patients can book online.
  • Shifts: Defines which staff shifts are available to book online.
  • Staff Profile: Specifies which staff members appear on the online booking site.

Instructions

  1. Go to Settings > Online Booking.
  2. Set the online booking policy to Online booking allowed.
  3. Click Save.

📣 Heads up: If you don’t see the option to enable online booking, your clinic may be on a plan that doesn’t include this feature. See our guide on Managing Your Jane Subscription for more details.


Online Booking Policy Options

Jane offers two online booking policy options:

  • Online booking allowed: Patients can visit your clinic’s Jane booking page and book their own appointments online.
  • Online booking disabled: Patients cannot book online and will need to contact the clinic directly to schedule an appointment. They’ll still have access to the My Account patient portal.

Verify New Users

If your clinic has experienced unwanted bookings, Jane team can enable a Verify New Users setting on your account. When active, new patients are required to verify their identity using a mobile code or email link before completing a booking.

To request this setting, send a message from the Need Help? area in the top right corner of your Jane account.


What to Expect

Once online booking is enabled and saved, your clinic’s booking page is immediately live. Patients can visit your Jane booking page and book appointments based on your availability, treatments, and any restrictions you have in place.
