Instructions
To enable Practitioner Search for your clinic, follow these steps.
- Go to Settings > Practitioner Search.
- Toggle on Enable Practitioner Search.
- In the practitioner opt-in menu that appears, select the practitioners you'd like to make discoverable. Practitioners with ineligible disciplines will be greyed out.
- For each enabled practitioner, select their initial treatment from the drop-down menu. This is the treatment patients will see when booking through Practitioner Search.
- Click Save.
What to Expect
Enabled practitioners will appear on the map at discover.jane.app within 3 hours of saving your changes, provided they have availability bookable online. Patients searching in your area will be able to view their profile and book their initial treatment directly from the search results.
Important Notes
- Only practitioners assigned to an eligible discipline (chiropractic care, massage therapy, physiotherapy, or acupuncture) can be enabled in Practitioner Search. To update a practitioner's discipline, go to Settings > Disciplines.
- Practitioners can opt in or out of Practitioner Search themselves by going to Staff Profile > Edit/Settings > Practitioner Search.
- If your clinic has multiple locations, only locations within the supported geography will appear in search results.
- There is no additional cost to participating in Practitioner Search. It's available to all clinics on Practice and Thrive plans with online booking enabled.
- Any changes to practitioner profiles, settings, or availability take up to 3 hours to reflect in Practitioner Search.
- Search results are randomized within a city and update dynamically as patients move the map or adjust their filters. If multiple practitioners at your clinic offer the same discipline, their order in results is also randomized.
