When a patient books through Practitioner Search, they're redirected to your clinic's online booking page to complete the appointment. Jane tracks where the booking came from, so you can identify Practitioner Search bookings in your schedule and reports.
Instructions
There are two ways to identify bookings made through Practitioner Search in Jane.
Option 1: From the Schedule
To check whether a specific appointment was booked through Practitioner Search, follow these steps.
- Go to the Schedule and locate the appointment.
- Hover over the cloud icon on the appointment, or click the appointment to open the side panel.
- Check the Booking Info section to see whether the appointment was booked through Practitioner Search.
Option 2: From the Appointments Report
To view all bookings made through Practitioner Search across a date range, follow these steps.
- Go to Reports > Appointments.
- Apply your preferred date range and any other filters.
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner and choose an export option to download the report.
- Open the exported file and filter by booking source to identify Practitioner Search bookings.
What to Expect
Exported reports include a booking source column that identifies how each appointment was made. Appointments booked through Practitioner Search will be labelled accordingly.
Important Notes
- Booking source information is only available in the exported version of the Appointments Report. It is not visible in the on-screen report view.
- Cancellation and rescheduling notifications for Practitioner Search bookings follow the notification preferences set on each practitioner's staff profile. To update these, go to Staff Profile > Edit/Settings > Settings > Notification Preferences.
