Jane's Practitioner Search makes it easy to find last-minute appointments with local practitioners in your area. You'll need a Jane ID to access it, which is free and takes just a minute to set up. Your Jane ID also helps us recognize clinics you've visited before, so they appear at the top of your results when you search.
Practitioner Search is currently available in Squamish, Vancouver's North Shore, and the Okanagan Valley in B.C., Canada. We're working on expanding to more regions soon.

Instructions
To find and book a last-minute appointment through Practitioner Search, follow these steps.
- Go to discover.jane.app.
- Click Get Started.
- Sign in with your Jane ID, or click Create an account if you don't have one yet.
- Once signed in, enter your location or allow your browser to detect it automatically.
- Select the type of practitioner you're looking for from the discipline list.
- Filter by availability: Today, Tomorrow, or Within a week.
- Browse the results. If you've visited a clinic, it will appear under From your clinics at the top of the results. Other available practitioners in your area appear under Other practitioners.
- Click on a practitioner to view their profile and available times.
- Click Book or select an available time to be redirected to the clinic's online booking page and complete your appointment.

What to Expect
Once you complete your booking, you'll receive confirmation and any reminder notifications according to the clinic's notification settings.
If this is your first time booking with a clinic through Practitioner Search, you may receive a confirmation code by email to verify your relationship with that clinic. Enter the code when prompted to continue with your booking.
Important Notes
- Practitioner Search currently supports chiropractic care, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and acupuncture.
- Results update dynamically as you move the map, so clinics outside your current search area won't appear even if you've visited them before.
- If a clinic isn't appearing in search results at all, it's possible they haven't opted in to Practitioner Search or don't have online booking enabled. Reach out to the clinic directly or visit their Jane online booking page to book.
