This guide covers three ways to view a patient’s past and upcoming appointments in Jane: viewing and filtering the appointments list from the patient profile, printing a copy of past or upcoming appointments, and checking appointment history through the patient’s My Account portal.
Viewing a Patient’s Appointments
To view a list of past and upcoming appointments for a patient, go to Patient’s profile > Appointments tab. Use the filters at the top of the tab to narrow down or expand the results:
- States: Filter by appointment status, such as booked, cancelled, or rescheduled. You can select one or multiple states.
- Locations: Filter by clinic location. Available if your clinic has more than one location.
- Staff Member: Filter by practitioner or staff member. You can select one or multiple staff members.
- Billing States: Filter by billing status, such as paid, partially paid, unpaid, or uninvoiced.
Printing a Patient’s Past or Upcoming Appointments
- Open the Patient’s Profile.
- Scroll down to the widget with the calendar icon on the right side of the profile page > click Print.
- In the print view, select Upcoming or Past using the toggle to choose which appointments to print.
- Click Print on the right
Viewing Appointments in My Account
Patients can view their own upcoming and past appointments by logging in to their My Account portal. No action is needed from your end.
For a full overview of what patients can see and do in My Account, see our guide on My Account: Your Patient and Client Portal.
Important Notes
- Upcoming and past appointments must be printed separately. Select either the Upcoming or Past tab in the print view and print one at a time.
- Printing appointment history does not include billing information such as payments or invoices. To generate a record that includes payment details, see our guide on Patient Statements.
