What can you expect?
Coming from Booksy weâve successfully brought over Patients and Appointments. Below youâll find step-by-step instructions for how you can export your data when youâre feeling ready to make the switch to charting, billing and booking in Jane đ
What can we import?
Exporting your Clients from Booksy
Coming from Booksy, your client list isnât directly exportable â youâll need to reach out to Booksyâs Support Team at [email protected] to request a copy of your client list with contact details. More on this here đ
Once you have that file, you can import it into Jane. Before you do, we recommend reviewing our Basics of Importing to Jane guide (under Patient List & Profiles) to get a sense of the demographic fields Jane supports, so you know what to look out for and how to map your data accordingly đ
Exporting your Appointments from Booksy
Unfortunately, Booksy does not currently offer a self-export of appointments from their system.
However, it sounds like Booksy may be able to provide you with a CSV appointments report upon special request, which is just what we need to import your bookings to Jane!
If you are unable to obtain the CSV file, it would mean that transitioning your bookings can be a bit of a manual process.
We recommend that you let us import your full customer/client list first, and then you dedicate a day or a weekend to moving over all your appointments manually before going live with Jane - people often choose to schedule their imports over a weekend so that there is some downtime in which to move the appointments over.
Often people will only move over future appointments just because of the time required.
Booksy Billing Data
We donât import billing information into Jane due to the complex nature and different ways of storing financial information.
Uploading into Jane
To ensure that your data is uploaded to the correct account, and for security reasons, we do not accept patient data via email. You can upload the files to us in the Settings > Import Data > Schedule Import area.
You can find an overview of this process here: Scheduling Your Import
