What can we import?
Exporting your Clients from Sessions Health
To export your client list from Sessions Health, please follow the process outlined in Sessions Healthâs guide on questions about your data:
- Log in to your Sessions Health account.
- Navigate to your Account Settings area.
- Click into the Data Export Tab followed by Add.
- Select All Clients or Primary Practitioner.
- Choose the option for exporting Demographics.
- Download the provided file once Sessions Health has fulfilled your request.
Exporting your Charts from Sessions Health
To export chart notes and clinical records from Sessions Health, please follow the process outlined in Sessions Healthâs guide on questions about your data:
- Log in to your Sessions Health account.
- Navigate to your Account Settings area.
- Click into the Data Export Tab followed by Add.
- Select All Clients or Primary Practitioner.
- Choose the option for exporting All Data.
- Download the provided file once Sessions Health has fulfilled your request.
Note: Selecting All Data will generate PDF files for billing, notes, treatment plans, and other documents. If you want to export the data per practitioner to maintain chart ownership, it would be best to export per practitioner đ
Uploading Your Data into Jane

The final step will be to upload your data to the Import Request in Jane. You can navigate to Settings > Import Data to securely upload the Client List and Chart Data, which should be in a Zip File đ

Sessions Health Billing Data
When moving over from another software to Jane, the one thing we like to make note of is the fact that we canât import billing data. This type of data is quite complex and does not transfer between software, as each software formats this data differently. Itâs best to keep any records you need on hand securely outside of Jane, but we can help guide you through how to manually transition your patient credits and receivables to Jane.
If youâd like to store your billing invoices from Sessions Health outside of Jane, you can download any selected patientâs lifetime invoices in the Payment tab by clicking Batch Download.
