What can you expect?
When moving over from another software to Jane, the one thing we like to make note of is the fact that we can’t import billing data. This type of data is quite complex and does not transfer between software, as each software formats this data differently. It’s best to keep any records you need on hand securely outside of Jane.
What we can help you import into Jane is your Patients and Appointments! The following steps will help guide you in getting this data for us to upload into your new Jane account’s import area.
Exporting your Patients from OCA Aspire
To export your patient list from OCA Aspire, you can follow these steps:
- Click FreshBooks at the top of the screen
- Select Clients
- Click More Actions at the top of the screen
- Select Export Clients
Exporting your Appointments from OCA Aspire
To bring over your appointments, you can follow these steps in OCA Aspire:
- Navigate to Reports
- Select the Patient Appointment Report
- Select a date range (Make sure to filter for any upcoming appointments as well if you’re looking to bring those over)
- Click Run Report
- Select Export to CSV
Uploading into Jane
To ensure that your data is uploaded to the correct account, and for security reasons, we do not accept patient data via email. You can securely upload the files to us in the import area.
Ready for your next step?
Once you’ve opened your new Jane account and have exported your data, you’ll want to schedule your import in the account. To get started, head over to Settings > Schedule an Import > Begin:
