If you’re in a different time zone than your clinic, it can be tricky to manage your appointments and reminders, so we’ve made it possible for you to customize your time zone. Once customized, all your appointments and appointment reminders will be displayed in your preferred time zone.

Changing your time zone from your clinic’s online booking site
When you’re not logged in
If you’re just browsing an online booking site but aren’t logged in yet, you’ll see a dropdown menu above the calendar of available appointments. You can select your time zone here.
Keep in mind that this time zone preference won’t be permanent since you aren’t logged in yet. We recommend logging in and setting your time zone preference for your account so you can set it and forget it.
When you are logged in
When logged in, you’ll see text in blue that says Change Time Zone above the available appointments calendar.
Give it a click, and then you’ll be able to choose your time zone from the drop-down menu and click Save.
Your preferred time zone is now set! This is the time zone your appointments and appointment reminders will be displayed in for this clinic.
Changing your time zone from your My Account area
You can also change your time zone from your My Account area (but there’s no need to do this if you’ve already logged in and selected your time zone from the online booking page).
You may already be familiar with the My Account area, but you can access it by clicking My Account in the top right of your clinic’s online booking site.

From here, you’ll select Time Zone on the menu to the left. Then select your time zone from the drop-down menu and click Save.
Your preferred time zone is now set! This is the time zone your appointments and appointment reminders will be displayed in for this clinic.

What time zone is on my account by default?
Until you change your time zone, the default will be the same time zone your clinic is in.
Do I need to set my time zone if I’m in the same one as my clinic?
No, if you’re in the same time zone as your clinic, you can sit back and relax.
When I choose my time zone, will it affect all the Jane clinics I use?
The short answer is no. If you use multiple Jane clinics that are in different time zones than you are, you’ll need to set your time zone for each of them. However, this feature is being tested by a small number of clinics to start, so you won’t likely see the option to set your time zone for each Jane clinic you visit yet.
Additionally, if you’re in the same time zone as your clinic, you don’t need to take any action at all. By default, your time zone is assumed to be the same as the clinic you visit.
What if I’m not logged in and I book an appointment that is in the clinic’s time zone and not mine?
Great question! Let’s say you’ve got a time zone preference saved on your profile, and it’s different from the clinic’s time zone. But if you’re not logged into your account and you select an appointment in the clinic’s time zone, you’ll see a message on your Thanks for Booking page to let you know so you can make adjustments if needed.
Why don’t I see the option to change my time zone for other Jane clinics I use?

I have related family profiles and can see their appointments. What time zone will my family members appointments be displayed in?
When you’re logged into your own Jane account, you’ll see you own appointments and family member’s appointments displayed in your preferred time zone.
