Here’s what we know about moving over from AppointmentPlus to Jane.
Disclaimer about our import guides: We create our guides through the experiences we have importing from different software, as well as searching for guide documents from these softwares to assist our customers in transitioning over to Jane. If you have any difficulty while retrieving your data, it’s best to reach out directly to your current software provider.
Exporting your Customers from AppointmentPlus
Coming from Appointment Plus, you’ll need you to upload your Customer export with as much detail as possible.
The Customer List can be exported from the Reports Tab. From there head to your Customer Reports.
Export with as much data as is relevant to your practice. If Jane doesn’t have a field that matches the export, the details can be added as a note on the patient profile.
Choose the Excel Format Option.

Exporting your AppointmentPlus Appointments
For appointments you can go to the Reports tab. From there choose the “Appointment Report”.
If you have a lot of data, Appointment Plus exporters sometimes seems to time out, so if that happens just break your appointments up by years (or smaller date ranges if necessary) and export each file separately. When you run them in batches make sure you set the filters in the exact same way.
Don’t forget to export your future appointments as well as your past appointments.
Choose the Booking Status of appointments you’d like to move over. Include as many appointment details as you think important, but don’t include anything that you don’t use. It is better to move over only relevant information so that you have a clean account.
You’ll want to choose the “Excel” view Option.
You can choose “Save & Run Report” to save all the settings for another export. This will help if you’re having to export your data in batches.

AppointmentPlus Billing Data
We don’t import billing information as there are formatting issues between the two systems, but we can show you how to manually transition your patient credits and receivables into Jane.
Uploading into Jane
To ensure that your data is uploaded to the correct account, and for security reasons, we do not accept patient data via email. You can upload the files to us in the Settings > Schedule an Import area.
