To include a patient’s upcoming appointments on their receipt, you’ll need to arrive the appointment first and then enable the upcoming appointments setting before printing or emailing the receipt.
- Go to the Schedule tab > select appointment > click Arrive.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the Pay button.
- Select Print Receipt (Options). A new window opens with the receipt preview.

At the top left of the receipt preview, enable Upcoming Appointments: On.
- Send the receipt to the patient by clicking Email to send it directly to the patient's email on file, PDF to download a copy, or Print to print a physical copy.
📣 Heads up: This setting is device-specific. Once enabled, upcoming appointments will appear on all receipts generated from this device. If you’re on a different device, you’ll need to enable the setting there as well.
What to Expect
The patient’s upcoming appointments are listed at the bottom of the receipt. The Upcoming Appointments: On setting remains enabled on this device, so future receipts generated from the same device will include upcoming appointments automatically.
