How to Schedule a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) Appointment

Scheduling a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment works differently from a standard one-on-one appointment. Similar to an in-person Class, you start by adding an empty appointment to the schedule to open the session. Participants can be added administratively or they can book online if available.

Step 1: Add the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) Appointment to the Schedule

  1. Go to the Schedule and click the date and time you'd like to run the session.
  2. In the Appointment Panel on the right, open the Select a Treatment drop-down menu and select your Telehealth (Groups & Classes) treatment.
  3. Under the Participants section, search for and select each participant's name, or skip this step if you're letting clients book themselves online.

  4. Click Book Appointment.

📣 Heads up: The Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment must be added to the schedule before participants can be added or book themselves in online. An empty Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is not the same as a regular appointment, it's a placeholder that opens the session for participants.

🩵 Jane Tip: Need a direct link to share with participants? Click your name in the top right corner of your Jane account and select Online Booking from the drop-down menu. Navigate to the session on the online booking site and copy the URL from your browser.

What to Expect

Once the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is on the schedule and participants have been added, each participant will receive an appointment confirmation email. Jane will also send each participant an email reminder with a link to join the video call 30 minutes before the session starts.

Each participant is billed separately for the session.

Important Notes

  • The maximum number of participants for a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is 15. This cannot be increased.
  • Only one practitioner can join a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) session.
  • Participants can book themselves into the session online until the maximum capacity is reached.
  • To remove a participant, click on the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment in the Schedule, then click the participant's name in the Participants section. Click Cancel/Delete and choose an option from the menu.
