Instructions
Scheduling a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment works differently from a standard one-on-one appointment. Similar to an in-person Class, you start by adding an empty appointment to the schedule to open the session. Participants can be added administratively or they can book online if available.
Step 1: Add the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) Appointment to the Schedule
- Go to the Schedule and click the date and time you'd like to run the session.
- In the Appointment Panel on the right, open the Select a Treatment drop-down menu and select your Telehealth (Groups & Classes) treatment.
- Under the Participants section, search for and select each participant's name, or skip this step if you're letting clients book themselves online.
- Click Book Appointment.
📣 Heads up: The Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment must be added to the schedule before participants can be added or book themselves in online. An empty Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is not the same as a regular appointment, it's a placeholder that opens the session for participants.
🩵 Jane Tip: Need a direct link to share with participants? Click your name in the top right corner of your Jane account and select Online Booking from the drop-down menu. Navigate to the session on the online booking site and copy the URL from your browser.
What to Expect
Once the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is on the schedule and participants have been added, each participant will receive an appointment confirmation email. Jane will also send each participant an email reminder with a link to join the video call 30 minutes before the session starts.
Each participant is billed separately for the session.
Important Notes
- The maximum number of participants for a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment is 15. This cannot be increased.
- Only one practitioner can join a Telehealth (Groups & Classes) session.
- Participants can book themselves into the session online until the maximum capacity is reached.
- To remove a participant, click on the Telehealth (Groups & Classes) appointment in the Schedule, then click the participant's name in the Participants section. Click Cancel/Delete and choose an option from the menu.
