How to Book a Telehealth Appointment (1:1)

Instructions

To book a Telehealth (1:1) appointment in Jane, follow these steps. Once booked, your client will receive a confirmation email and a reminder email with a link to join the video call 30 minutes before the session starts.

  1. Go to the Schedule and click the date and time you'd like to book the session.
  2. Open the treatment drop-down menu and select the treatment you'd like to book.
  3. Type the client's name in the Add Patient field and select them from the results.
  4. Add any additional details, such as an insurance policy or a note.
  5. Click Book Appointment.

🩵 Jane Tip: If a client hasn't received their reminder email with the video link, you can resend it manually. Click on the appointment in the Schedule and select Re-Send Email Invitation in the Appointment Panel.

What to Expect

Once the appointment is booked, your client receives a confirmation email. Jane will also send them a reminder email with a link to join the video call 30 minutes before the session starts.

When your client joins the call, a green badge will appear on the appointment in the Schedule indicating that the client is waiting.

Important Notes

  • If a client does not have an email address on file, they will not receive the reminder email with the video link. Make sure the client's email address is up to date before the session.
