Instructions
To calculate practitioner pay based on booked hours, follow these steps. Once complete, youâll have the total hours needed to calculate each practitionerâs compensation outside of Jane.
- Go to Reports > Hours Scheduled/Booked.
- Filter the report by Location, Staff Member, and Date Range to narrow down the data.
- Find the value in the Booked (hrs) column for each practitioner.
- Multiply the Booked (hrs) value by the practitionerâs hourly rate to calculate their total pay.
- To export the data for use in a spreadsheet, click the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the page and select your preferred export option.
What to Expect
This report shows the total booked hours for each practitioner within the selected date range. Booked hours include appointments marked as booked, arrived, or no-show; cancelled appointments are excluded. To calculate total pay, apply each practitionerâs hourly rate outside of Jane.
Important Notes
- Jane doesnât store hourly wage rates. Youâll need to calculate and record each practitionerâs total compensation in your own payroll records or external software.
- The Hours Scheduled/Booked report reflects appointment time only. It doesnât include non-appointment hours like admin tasks, meetings, or vacation time.
