Adding prior authorization to a policy
You can add prior authorization details for a patient after you’ve created their insurance policy.
Next, to view their policy, go to their profile and click Billing under their name. Next, select their Insurance Policies tab and click View next to their policy.
Click the + Add Prior Authorization button and fill in the details. The required fields are the Prior authorization number and the start and end dates of the coverage period.
You can also enter the number of visits authorized and any notes, such as approved services.
Click the Add button when you’re finished, and then you’ll see the prior authorization details on the policy.
