Why Do My Prior Authorizations Have Unexpected Date Ranges?

Why do some of my prior authorizations in Jane show date ranges that I didn’t enter?

Answer

When date ranges were introduced for prior authorizations, an estimated range was filled in for any existing authorizations since that information wasn’t previously on file. We’d recommend reviewing your existing authorizations and updating the dates to reflect what’s actually on file with your insurer.
