This guide covers how to access, download, and delete recordings from a chart entry.

Accessing Your Recordings and Transcripts

To access the recordings and transcripts from a session, follow these steps.

  1. Open the patient's Chart tab and open the chart entry.
  2. Click the microphone icon at the top of the chart entry.
  3. Click Manage Recordings.

What to Expect

A panel opens on the right side of the screen showing all recordings and transcripts from this session. Recordings and transcripts from other appointments, practitioners, or patients are not shown here.

Deleting a Recording Manually

To delete a recording from a chart entry, follow these steps.

  1. Open the Manage Recordings panel using the steps above.
  2. Click the three dots to the right of the recording date and time.
  3. Click Delete.

What to Expect

The recording is immediately removed from the clinic account and is no longer accessible. A copy remains in Jane’s secure backup servers and is permanently deleted after one week.
