What is AI Scribe Free, and how does it work?

AI Scribe Free lets you try AI-assisted charting at no cost. It's turned on automatically for every practitioner, so there's nothing to set up.
You get two things with it: five chart notes per month, and unlimited access to Highlight to Refine, a tool for editing a chart by describing what you want changed.
Your five notes reset every calendar month. If you use them all before the month is up, you can still use the Highlight to Refine feature, but you won't be able to record or upload audio for a new note until the next month. If you decide you want more, a Full Access user at your clinic can upgrade you to AI Scribe Unlimited at any time.
📣 Heads up: Being turned on by default doesn't mean recording is on by default. You still choose when to record, upload, or dictate. Nothing happens automatically.

Not sure if AI Scribe is on for your profile? Open a patient's Chart tab and look for a microphone icon at the top of the page. If it's there, you have access.
To see exactly where you stand on your five notes, click the arrow next to the microphone icon. You'll see a counter showing how many you've used this month. If you're on AI Scribe Unlimited instead, you won't see a counter at all, since there's no monthly limit to track.
