Instructions
To prepare your products for import, export your product list from your current software and format it so Jane's imports team can bring your inventory into Jane without a manual transfer.
- Export your product list from your current software.
- Export the file in Microsoft Excel or CSV format. Here's a sample products list for reference.
- Include as many of the following fields as your current software allows:
- Product name
- Cost to patient
- Cost to you
- Manufacturer
- Inventory count
- Re-order threshold
- Inventory description
- Taxable (yes or no)
What to Expect
Jane's imports team reviews your products file and maps each product to the correct fields in Jane. Once the import is complete, your products appear in Jane's product list and are available for use immediately.
Important Notes
- Product files must be in Microsoft Excel or CSV format.
- The more fields you include in your export, the less manual setup you'll need to do after your import.
