Disabling 2-Step Verification Clinic-Wide

Staff Access Level: Full Access and above
Jane Plan: All plans
Geography: 🌐 All regions

If you'd like to make 2-Step Verification optional for your clinic, you can turn off clinic-wide enforcement at any time. Individual staff members who have already set up 2-Step Verification will keep it enabled on their own profiles unless they choose to remove it.

Instructions

📣 Heads up: Disabling 2-Step Verification clinic-wide could have compliance or regulatory implications and may affect your ability to make a claim on your practice's cybersecurity insurance policy. We strongly recommend keeping 2-Step Verification enforced for all staff profiles.

  1. Click Settings in the top bar of Jane.
  2. Select Security from the left menu.
  3. Click Edit next to 2-Step Verification Enforcement.
  4. Uncheck the Require 2-Step Verification box.
  5. Click Save.

What to Expect

Once saved, 2-Step Verification becomes optional clinic-wide. Staff members who already have it set up will keep it enabled on their profiles. Staff members who haven't set it up will no longer be prompted to do so.
