  • If the About page says “Microsoft Edge is up to date,” you’re good to go! 🎉 No action is needed.

  • If the About page says “An update is available,” simply click Download and install to get the latest version of Microsoft Edge. The update will apply automatically the next time you restart the browser.

Note: If you’re using a mobile data connection, downloading updates may result in charges.

If the About page says “To finish updating,” feel free to restart Microsoft Edge by clicking Restart. This ensures all updates are properly installed. Restarting the browser also ensures that you’re using the most secure and efficient version of Microsoft Edge.

If browser issues persist, you may want to consider downloading the latest version of Google Chrome.

And that should do it! When possible, it’s recommended that you enable automatic updates to keep your browser secure and up-to-date.
