How to Update Your Firefox Browser

Have you ever had those moments when your internet page starts acting a bit wonky? Updating your browser could be the fix you need!

Step-by-Step Instructions on Updating Firefox

  1. Click on the Firefox menu in the top bar and select About Firefox. This will open the update window.

  2. Firefox will automatically check for updates. If there’s one available, it will download it.

Once the download completes, you can click Restart to apply the update.

How to Set Up Automatic Updates for Firefox

To save time, you can set Firefox to update automatically. Here’s how:

  1. In the Firefox menu, go to Preferences or Settings (depending on your macOS version).

  2. Navigate to the General panel and find the Firefox Updates section.

When possible, it’s recommended that you enable automatic updates to keep your browser secure and up-to-date. And that should do it!
