How to Delete a Secure Message

Jane Plan: All plans
Add-on Required: No
Geography: 🌐 All geographies

Both staff and patients can delete a secure message within 5 minutes of sending it.

📣 Heads up: Deleted secure messages are gone permanently and cannot be recovered. Both you and the patient will see that a message was deleted.

Instructions

To delete a secure message in Jane, follow these steps.

  1. Hover over the secure message you want to delete.
  2. Click the three dots icon next to the message.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm your choice in the confirmation window.

What to Expect

Once a secure message is deleted, it is permanently removed from the conversation. Both you and the patient will see a notice indicating that a message was deleted.
