Can I Send a Secure Message to Another Staff Member?

Can I send a secure message to a staff member or colleague in Jane?

Answer

Secure Messaging in Jane is designed for practitioner-to-patient communication only. It isn't possible to send a secure message to another staff member or colleague through Secure Messaging. For internal clinic conversations, use a channel outside of Secure Messaging.

If a staff member also has a patient profile, you can send them a secure message through their patient profile. In that case, they'll receive the secure message in their My Account patient portal only, not on the administrative side of Jane. This works the same as messaging any other patient.
