How To: Reset Your Jane Password

If you are having trouble signing in to Jane, you may want to try resetting your password.

Don’t worry, you can reset it in just a few steps:

Type in the URL of the account you are trying to access and type in your username.

This would look something like this example: demo.janeapp.com.

For Staff/Practitioner logins:

You will want to login with “/admin” at the end of your URL. It would look something like this: demo.janeapp.com/admin.

Click on the Forgot your username or password link.

Don’t see the Forgot your username or password option?

Sometimes you may end up on a page like the one below with no option to click Forgot username or password.

You can change the URL of the page to have /admin on the end which will bring back the Forgot username or password option.

Or you can enter any text into the username field and click Sign In to advance to the next page, where you’ll find the Forgot username or password option.

Once you’ve clicked Forgot username or password, you can enter the email address or mobile phone number associated with your account and click Lookup My Account.

Next, check your email inbox for a message from us with instructions on how to reset your password.

📣 Heads up: if there are multiple profiles associated with your mobile phone or email that you used to look up your account, then you’ll receive multiple verification codes. Each code will correspond to a profile and be named in this email, but if you have multiple profiles with the same name and don’t know which code to use, reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help.

Head back to Jane and add the code listed in your email to the field below and click Verify:

Fill in your new username or email address, and type in a new secure password. Then, Click Next.

Once your password has been reset, you can log in normally. If you have 2-Step Verification enabled, you’ll receive an SMS code to your mobile phone as part of the login process. Check out our guide to learn more.
