Who should book an Account Setup Consultation?
Whether you’re a tech wiz or could use a helping (human!) hand, we recommend that all new Jane customers book an Account Setup Consultation. This 45-minute call gives you a chance to ask questions and ensures you’re feeling confident using Jane before you go live.
Account Setup Consultations are designed for clinics that are brand new to Jane. If you’re already up and running, we think that you’ll find it most helpful to email or call us directly so we can lend a hand right away. Just reach out to our team.
When is the best time for an Account Setup Consultation?
Feel free to book your call within about a week of signing up. Many clinics find it helpful to start setting up their account with the in-app Onboarding Wizard before scheduling an Account Setup Consultation. That way, you can gather some questions before we meet. But of course, if you’d like some human help right from the get-go, feel free to book a call right away.
What to expect
Here’s what we’ll cover:
- Your schedule and online booking preferences.
- How you usually handle billing (we want to help you get paid!)
- The progress you’ve made so far with your setup — that way, we can fill in any gaps and answer any questions you may have.
- Lastly, we’ll practice your daily workflows, and share some useful tips and tricks along the way.
At the end of the call, we might give you some action items to help finish up your setup. You can then choose to continue on your own or your specialist can book you in for a follow-up call.
How to book your Account Setup Consultation
To book your call, head to either Account Set Up (Canada), Account Set Up (US), or Account Set Up (UK & Europe) depending on which country you practice in.
Choose the date and time and that you’d like to book. Appointment times will be displayed in your local time zone. Once you select a time, you’ll see the option to click Next.
On the next page, we’ll ask you for a few details that will help us tailor your Account Setup Consultation to your clinic’s needs. When you’ve filled in your information, click Schedule Event.
You’ll see a popup letting you know you’re booked in successfully, and you’ll receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to join your Account Setup Consultation at the time of your call.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your booking, you can do so right from the confirmation email.
And that’s it! You’re all set to meet with one of our onboarding experts.
How to join your call
We use Zoom for our Account Setup Consultations. Before your consultation, a member of the Jane team will send you an email with instructions on how to join your call and share your screen.
We find that asking you to share your screen in Zoom is the most efficient way for us to work together and get your account set up. If you’re coming from a different software, we suggest booking your account setup consultation before you import your data so that you can share your screen without sharing any patient data. But if you’ve already done an import, no worries — we’ll share our screen in the Jane demo site instead.
And of course, if you prefer a phone call, just let us know, and we’re happy to make that happen.
