Jane’s first AI feature, AI Scribe, is out of early access and available to everyone as an additional add-on. Now, it’s your turn to give it a spin. 🎉
The goal with AI Scribe is to help make charting and documenting simpler, and hopefully give you a bit more breathing room in your day. Just record, dictate, or upload your session, and it creates a first draft of your note in seconds — so you can focus on your patients and clients, not your paperwork.
Practitioners who’ve tried it let us know they’ve been loving how it:
- Catches the details so they can stay fully present
- Speeds up note-taking and frees up their evenings
- Can be customized to fit the way they work
- Keeps patient data safe (HIPAA + PIPEDA compliant)

New Financial Notifications setting
The team added a new setting in your patients’ profiles to make managing families in Jane a little easier.
It’s called “Send billing and payments emails and texts,” and it lets you choose whether a patient should get financial emails or texts — like receipts or pay balance reminders — or not.
By default, this is turned on for everyone. But if you turn it off, all those billing messages will go to the parent or caregiver instead (if one’s assigned). This will be handy for kids or teens who don’t need to receive these emails.

And there’s still more in the works! Up next, we’re focused on an easier way for patients to set up their own relationships online so that everything is clear from the start. But in the meantime, let us know what you think of these changes.

Google Calendar Sync: Beta signup đź”—
Our new one-way Google Calendar Sync is in early access, and we’d love for you to join and test it out. With this feature, you can pull your personal Google Calendar events into your Jane calendar. That means things like dentist appointments, school drop-offs, or personal time will show up right alongside your patient bookings.
Financing Support for Clinics: Survey đź”—
Some early ideas are taking shape around helping clinics manage cash flow — including a potential financing option to help with growth. Things are still taking shape, but we’d love your input. If you’ve got a couple of minutes, here’s a short survey to share your thoughts.
