Great care happens when the small stuff is taken care of. Think of these new features as the quiet helpers in your clinic that are always running in the background, taking things off your plate, and freeing you up to do what you do best.


🇨🇦🇺🇸 AI Scribe for dictation

Not every workflow looks the same, and that’s why we’ve built options into Jane’s AI Scribe.

For example, AI Scribe isn’t just for live session recording. You can also use it to dictate your notes whenever it works best for you.

Sometimes you might prefer not to record sessions live or you could have clients who’d rather skip the recording. No problem. After your appointment, or whenever you like to catch up on your notes for the day, you can speak your notes out loud, and Jane will turn them into structured documentation for you. All that’s left for you to do is review the draft and then sign off.

AI Scribe is all about shaving precious time off of your administrative charting duties so you can focus more on providing great care. We’d love for you to give it a try and let us know what you think.

🇨🇦 Secure Messaging in Jane’s mobile app for clients

Your patients will now be able to read and reply to your messages right in the Jane mobile app. **Yes, it’s the same app they already use for booking, managing, and joining appointments. 🤳

There’s no extra setup needed, and nothing changes for you. You’ll continue to start the conversation, and your patients will have an easy, secure way to respond. This means:

  • No extra logins or browser tabs
  • Quick replies in the moment
  • Support that continues between visits

And, if you’d like to share the app with your patients, we’ve put together a few optional resources here to make it easy.


New multi-factor authentication settings

Your Jane account is your clinic’s digital front door, and we’ve added two simple, reliable tools to keep it even more secure:

  • Recovery Code: A “spare key” you tuck away in a safe spot. If you ever lose your phone or can’t access your authenticator app, this recovery code will get you back in without delay.
  • Authenticator App Code: Instead of relying on text messages, you can now use a quick code from your favourite Authenticator app (like Authy, or 1Password). It’s like punching in the clinic alarm when you open up in the morning.

What we love is that you only need to set this up once. After that, your security tools are always ready in the background, quietly protecting your account, your team, and your patients’ information.

These changes are part of Jane’s ongoing commitment to raising the standard of security across our platform. Over the next few months, we’ll continue strengthening how accounts are protected, thoughtfully and carefully.
