Hey Jane community,

It’s spring in Canada, and we’ve been getting a lot of what we in the Pacific Northwest call ‘liquid sunshine’. 🌧️ Luckily, there’s enough exciting stuff happening in the Jane-iverse to keep us in a sunny state of mind.

Enough talk about the weather, let’s look at what’s new:

(1) New Colour for Arrived + Paid Appointments

We’ve been gradually rolling this out, so some of you might not see the change for a few more days, but we just couldn’t wait a whole month to talk about it.

Now, when an appointment has been Arrived and paid for, it will turn dark green! This will let you see at a glance if there are any past appointments that you need to collect client payments for.

  • 💚 Light green appointment = Arrived + client balance is unpaid
  • 🌲 Dark green appointment = Arrived + client balance is paid or fully billed to insurance

We hope this makes it easier to collect timely payments. Let us know what you think!


(2) Increased Schedule Zoom

This is a small change that will be BIG for anyone whose appointments are shorter than 30 minutes (we’re looking at you, chiro friends). You can now increase your Schedule Zoom to 200%, allowing you to see all the important details on those shorter appointments.

To give it a try, you can head to the Schedule, click the cog in the bottom right-hand corner, and choose 200% under Set Schedule Zoom.

(3) 🇺🇸 Faster Claim Submissions

For our friends in the U.S. who bill electronically, you may have found yourself thinking, “Darn, Jane is moving fast today!” 🏎️ That’s because we’ve souped up the engine that powers our Claim Submission Preview so you can load claims 35% faster than you did before.

We hope this saves a little time, especially for those of you submitting larger batches of claims.

Honourable Mentions:

  • Working with the Schedule: If there’s a client loaded in the search bar in the top left-hand corner, that client will now change as you click into different appointments. This means your client’s name will be pre-populated when you go to reschedule an appointment.
  • Upcoming or Past Appointments: The day of the week will now be included when you print a list from the Appointments tab of your client’s profile.
  • Online Appointments for Groups: Both your Virtual Background and Video Layout will now be persistent settings. That means that if you’ve decided to blur your background and use gallery view in one session, the next session will start with those same settings.
