First, you’ll need to set up Jane Online Payments. To do this, Full-Access users can start by heading to Settings > Jane Payments.
If you’re ready to go, click the blue “Set up Jane Payments” button and follow the on-screen prompts and questions.
Since we will be facilitating payments and transferring money to you, we’ll need to collect some information about you, your business and your banking information. This all happens during the sign-up process, and should only take about 5 minutes.
Need to pause your setup? Click Return to settings in the upper-right corner to save your progress. When you’re ready to continue, head back to Settings > Jane Payments and click Continue Setup.
Once you’re done, you’ll see a confirmation page letting you know that your Jane Online Payments account is set up. This means that you’re ready to start accepting and processing online payments. 🎉
Choosing the right business type during Jane Payments setup

✨ Tip: If you’re not the business owner, check with them before selecting a business type to make sure everything matches their registration details.
Why do I need to provide this information?
To make sure everything runs smoothly with your Jane Payments account, we need to collect some important business and banking details. This helps ensure secure payment processing and keeps everything compliant with industry regulations.
Like all payment providers, Jane follows Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements—standard financial regulations designed to prevent fraud and protect businesses. These steps aren’t unique to Jane; they’re required across the industry, including by our payment partner, Stripe. Learn more here: Stripe KYC Obligations.
✨ Accuracy matters! To avoid any delays in setting up your account or receiving payouts, be sure to enter your details exactly as they appear on your official business registration and bank records.”
Here’s what to keep in mind:
🔹 If you’re registered as a company (LLC, Inc, etc.), the bank account name must match the company name on file.
🔹 Ensuring you select the correct account type for how your business is registered during sign-up is important to ensure you are able to provide all of the required information.
