Need a little help managing your Wait List? Jane’s got you! There are a few different ways you can use Jane’s Wait List features to help keep track of client requests and get them in for earlier appointments. 💪

Let’s start with Wait List basics
This guide will show you how you can add, edit, or remove clients from your Wait List and introduce the Wait List Report. For those not using Wait List Notifications, it also shows you how you can book a client from your Wait List!
Wait List Notifications
❗️ Heads up that the Wait List Notifications feature is only available on the Thrive Plan. If you’re interested in upgrading your plan, check out our Managing Your Jane Subscription guide.
Here’s a quick overview of how the feature works:
👀 When an appointment is deleted, cancelled, no-showed, or moved, Jane will scan the Wait List and hold that spot for all of your eligible wait-listed clients (clients whose preferences fit within that spot).
💪 When you click on the spot being held, Jane will give you some options:
- Send a notification to all those clients at once
- Release the spot back to the general public
- Book a specific client into that spot with a single click
🚀 If you choose to enable automatic Wait List Notifications, Jane will send out an SMS or email notification (based on your clients’ preferences) to all of those clients for you!
⏳ If there are no takers after a notification has been sent out, that spot will automatically be opened back up for the general public to book into after a customizable amount of time.
