Jane's Guide Here's all the help you need to use Jane.

Jane's July Newsletter (2023)

Hey Jane Community,

It’s that time again — your monthly dose of updates (and new features) that had us even more eager than usual to hit the send button. 😀

(1) 2-Step Verification

Online security is an increasingly hot topic, and we know that protecting your clinic data is a top priority. So, you and your staff now have the option to add 2-Step Verification to your Jane login for a new layer of security.

By enabling 2-Step Verification on your staff profile, you’ll receive a one-time SMS code to your mobile phone that you enter in Jane each time you log in, after entering your password.

To get started, you can head to My Account, click on 2-Step Verification, and toggle on the Text Message (SMS) option.

(2) Integrated Claims with Claim.MD

Our billing integration with Claim.MD has been in beta since the beginning of the year and now we’re so excited to say it’s officially ready for everyone.

If you’re on our Insurance Plan, you can connect your Claim.MD clearinghouse account to:

  • 🚀 Submit claims
  • ✅ View responses and manage rejections
  • 💸 Automatically receive ERAs

… all within Jane!

When you’re ready to get started, you can head to Settings > Integrations > Clearinghouse to connect the Claim.MD account.

Beta users had some really encouraging feedback about how the integration streamlined their billing to save them time and improve their cash flow. You can read one clinic’s story here.

More good news: Jane users will now get 10% off their monthly Claim.MD subscription! If you’re not signed up with Claim.MD yet, you can learn more here.

(3) Instant Payouts

Jane now offers a way to get you paid faster — because sometimes you need the money you made yesterday, well… yesterday.

For an extra 1.5% fee, Jane Payments’ Instant Payouts allow eligible businesses to receive funds not only that same day, but within 30 minutes of your request.

Here’s a quick overview:

From your Jane Payments account settings (Settings > Jane Payments), Full Access Users can view available payout amounts and choose to deposit the full or partial amount instantly.

If you don’t have an eligible debit card on file, you’ll be prompted to add one from a supporting bank or credit union before continuing.

Once you hit that “Pay Out Now” button, you’ll want to fasten your seatbelt while your payout is deposited within 30 minutes! 🏎️

Practitioners can also start billing PSHCP… ASAP! To get started, Full Access Users can head into the insurer settings area (Settings > Insurers). Next, whether you’re creating a new insurer or upgrading an existing one, you can select “Canada Life - PSHCP” from the “Electronic Submission Insurer” dropdown.
