The Jane Payments terminal is getting an upgrade to make in-person payments a little more reliable: a longer-lasting battery, USB-C charging, and a bigger, brighter screen.

New Jane Payments terminal
Taking payments in person is getting easier on the eyes. 👀
A new Jane Payments terminal is coming November 1st. This new terminal has a bigger, brighter 5.5-inch screen, and a longer lasting battery. It also charges over USB-C, so you can use the same kind of cable as your phone.
Already have a terminal? There’s nothing you need to do. It’ll keep working just as it does today. If in-person payments aren’t part of your practice, nothing changes for you either.
But if you’d like an upgrade, the new terminal is $369 CAD, $259 USD, or £209 before taxes and shipping, with no change to your Jane Payments processing rates. You can order it from your Settings starting November 1st, or email [email protected] if you’d like the team to place an early order for you.
More control over what integrations add to your charts
A lot of you told us you wanted a say in what lands in a patient’s chart. Now you have one.
With the new ‘Add to Chart’ control, anything an integration sends to a patient’s chart now appears at the top of the chart for you to Review or Dismiss. It also shows up as a task in your notification centre, so it doesn’t get missed. You can review this, and then create a new draft chart entry or add the information to a draft you already have open.
This works with our new [P]rehab and Qualiphy integrations (more on that below), along with Fullscript, Wibbi, and VitaminLab.
Integrated Exercise Programming with [P]rehab
You can now build [P]rehab exercise programs right from your patient’s Jane chart.
[P]rehab Professional is built for orthopaedic, sports, and performance-focused care, and it comes with 4,000+ exercise videos filmed and cued by Doctors of Physical Therapy. To get started, you can open it from your patient’s profile and build or update their program the way you normally would. Once you save, the program PDF, patient link, and exercise details come back to their chart for you to review.

🇺🇸 Good Faith Exams through Qualiphy
If your clinic offers treatments that need a Good Faith Exam, you can now start one from your patient’s chart.
Qualiphy is a telehealth platform that connects your patients with a licensed provider on demand. With this integration, clinic staff can:
- Launch Qualiphy from Jane, and and select the Good Faith Exam you need with patient details already filled in.
- Send a patient a pre-clearance link they can complete on their own before their appointment.
- Choose from Qualiphy's Good Faith Exam and order options for the visit.
A quick note: Qualiphy isn’t available in Alabama or Mississippi. Exams are $27.99 USD each, billed to your clinic by Qualiphy, with no extra cost from Jane.
