Careers At Jane

Build a better tomorrow for health practices everywhere

At Jane, our mission is to help the helpers. With more than 240,000 practitioners relying on Jane every day, we’re looking for bright, passionate people to help us make an impact for clinics all over the globe

Our purpose

We help people who help people

Practitioners open clinics because they love caring for people, not because they love invoicing, scheduling, and insurance codes. Every hour we save a practitioner is an hour they spend doing the thing they’re best at. That’s exactly why we’re growing, why we’re hiring, and why this moment matters.

We're growing fast

In 2025, our customer base nearly doubled to 240,000+ practitioners in 75+ countries. In 2026, we're pushing hard into new disciplines across North America and the UK. There’s never been a better time to help write Jane’s next chapter.

We're focused on AI

In 2014, we were explaining the cloud. This time, it's all about AI. But we're not just bolting AI onto what already exists. We’re finding new ways to solve real problems. We don't have all the answers yet, and that's kind of the point.

We’re customer obsessed

Customers are constantly telling us how much they love Jane. It’s pretty unexpected, especially for software. But that's the bar we hold ourselves to: love. And if a customer doesn’t love using Jane, then we know we have to do better.

Driven by the people we serve

Everything we build and every decision we make starts with the practitioners who use Jane. Here's what we're working toward, and what keeps us pointed in the same direction.

Mission

Helping the helpers

We want what's best for allied health and wellness practitioners and their small businesses, so they can provide the best care to their communities.

Vision

More happier helpers

A thriving community of health and wellness professionals, succeeding in their businesses and providing engaging care to their patients, with Jane as a delightful, valued part of their team.

Remote first, and always close-knit

Jane is a remote-first Canadian company, born and raised in North Vancouver. You can live and work from anywhere in Canada and the US, with flexibility to work abroad temporarily. Want to spend winters on the slopes and summers in cottage country? Go for it.

But being spread out doesn't mean we're disconnected. We stay close through virtual and in-person events, company-wide challenges, and more Slack channels than we probably need.

A dynamic culture of building and improving

Working on the Product Team at Jane means constant innovation, iteration, and improvement. We think from first principles, question assumptions, and collaborate openly to ensure we’re building the best possible technology and solutions for our customers.

Frequently asked questions

Jane’s mission is simple: help the helpers. We build software that helps more than 240,000 allied health practitioners spend less time on admin and more time on caring for their patients and clients.

Our vision? More happier helpers. We want to create a thriving community of practitioners who are succeeding in their businesses and providing engaging care to their patients.

Internally at Jane, we have three core values:

  • Love Jane: We care deeply about our customers, our product, and each other.
  • Work Hard: We set a high bar to create an impact that matters.
  • Have Fun: We want everyone at Jane to feel joy in their careers.

Jane serves a broad range of allied health and wellness practitioners, including physiotherapists and physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, psychologists, naturopaths, nurse practitioners, medical aesthetic providers and more. Our customers are primarily small-to-medium health clinics located in North America and the UK.

Jane was founded in North Vancouver, British Columbia, and is a remote-first company. Today, our team works together across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Definitely! We're investing in AI across the team, both in how we work day to day and in what we're building for practitioners. On the product side, we keep coming back to one question: what if Jane could take on more of the admin, so practitioners have more room for the work that actually matters to them? If you want the longer version, our co-founder Ali wrote about how we're approaching AI at Jane.

Jane launched as a startup in 2014. Fueled in the early years by rapid word-of-mouth, we’ve since grown to support more than 245,000 practitioners worldwide. Today, we still operate with that foundational startup mindset. We move fast, tackle ambitious problems, and always strive to innovate with a high bar for quality.

Jane hires across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Most roles are open to candidates anywhere within those regions. Specific location requirements are noted in each job posting.

At Jane, the work stays tied to why we started: helping allied health practitioners spend less time on admin and more time with the people they care for. That shows up in how the team operates: quick to move, open to a good idea from anyone, curious by default. What does that look like day to day? Current and former Janers share the real version on our Glassdoor profile.

Jane hires across engineering, product management, design, UX research, support, marketing, partnerships, and business operations. Engineering roles span product areas including booking, charting, billing, payments, communications, and AI.
